Jake Buturla
First and foremost he considers himself a father of 3 and a husband. He believes that family should always come before everything. After going to college for graphic design he decided the office life wasn’t for him. He the experimented with being a tattoo artist to flooring and everything in between. He started cutting hair in high school for his friends and he revisited that passion in 2012 when he moved to Maine from Connecticut. He has studied as a Cosmetologist as well as a Barber so there is no limit to his cutting. Whether it is all shear work for a longer haircut or skin fade with clippers and a design he is a real Jake-of-all trades.
Chris Altovino
Chris has had a passion for hair from a young age. Starting in high school and into college he supported himself by cutting his peers hair. After college Chris was a successful salesman as well as diligently working at his family’s restaurant.Starting a family recently Chris reevaluated his life and decided to do what he loved. He has dedicated himself principally to his family, then to his craft;Barbering.
Jessi Paige
Jessi started cutting hair in 2017 and began studies at Spa Tech in 2020, entering their barber program. She graduated in 2021 and joined Americana Shave Co. in March of 2022. She is very excited to be a part of the Americana team andcommunity. Born in Southern Maine, and raised in North Carolina, she has called Maine home for the last 9 years. Come sit in her chair and catch the vibes!
Don Rosette
After a lengthy career in tradeshow/event sales and marketing, Don decided 4 years ago to pursue an artform that had interested him since childhood…cutting hair! A laidback and positive guy with a passion for barbering, some of Don’s interests include Boston sports, cryptocurrency, street art, and working with troubled teens. A Bostonian at heart, Don now resides in Portland with his girlfriend.
Brendon D
Brendon comes to Americana Shave Co. after years in salons doing a variety of different services. Coming from the Rhode Island Mass area he’s been living in Maine for 4 years know. Loving Maine , the barber life and the Americana shave company way. He looks forward to meeting and taking care of all our clientele. Welcome to the team Brendon.
Aric Lyden
My name is Aric, I began my journey with Americana Shave Co back in 2021. I started my career in the barbing world sweeping the floor, answering the phones, and running errands for the shop. over the span of a few months, I realized this was my passion and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
